Sizzlin’ Seniors
The California Sizzlin’ Seniors start off
2020 with a bang; they are rehearsing
three shows for this year. The first one is a
Valentine’s show filled with love songs
and featuring the trio called the Fantastics
who are pictured in their lovely red
gowns. The second show is a St. Patrick’s
Day show. The lassies and the lads will
perform much loved Irish songs and an
Irish Jig or two (everyone remembers Fantastics
‘Danny Boy’) They are also rehearsing the
numbers they will be using this year for
the county fairs and private shows. This
show, “The Fabulous 50s, 60s and 70s” will
feature many terrific songs from those
eras that will be immediately recognized
and fondly remembered.
Our featured pair this month is Judy
and Rick Talbot, a husband and wife team
who are often featured in duets. They are
also (with Ginni Gordon) the group
directors..
The Sizzlin’ Seniors is the Original
sanctioned performing group, began in
2001, and is composed of former pageant
queens, winners, and contestants of the
Ms. Senior California Pageant. The group
also includes ‘a few good men’ and one
young woman. They are available to
entertain at retirement homes, senior
centers, for veteran’s groups and private
parties. For information, contact directors
Judy Talbot and Ginni Gordon at 760-310-
2413. Call and book the show you are Judy & Rick Talbot
wanting; they are already planning ahead
for this year!
