Entertaining Ourselves: A FEW SUGGESTIONS
Reading: Books currently on a shelf that you meant to start or finish, now is the time.Or call a friend and ask what books they are willing to share or trade.
De-Cluttering: As obvious as this might be, the thought sometimes is overwhelming. Start with one closet or one drawer or one cupboard. If you haven’t used something in a year, if it doesn’t bring you joy, time to pitch it, donate it, or continue to keep it.
Simplifying: What tasks can you eliminate, consolidate, or innovate a new way of performing it.
Planning: Consider what you are preparing for in the future. Make a list of each item and the steps to accomplish them, then add a timeline.
Writing: Whether writing a personal note or a novel, it could be the right time to decide what to do and execute an initial action.
Learning: Is it embroidery, a computer program, golf? Ask someone that already does this, either on the internet or through your own family and friend connections.
