The new Ms. Senior California 2019 will be Crowned!

Ms Senior AmericaCome and join us for this very special event which honors women over the age of 60+. Six lovely and talented women from various cities throughout California will be competing for the coveted title of Ms. Senior California 2019. This fabulous event takes place at the Joan Kroc Theatre for Peace and Justice on the University of San Diego campus, Sunday, June 9, at 1:30 P.M.

Every woman who will be competing for the coveted title of Ms. Senior California participated in a preliminary pageant in California, and the two women with the highest scores from each preliminary advance to the State Pageant. This pageant is unlike any other, it is about our contestants’ inner beauty, their grace, their poise, and their performance abilities. The four areas for evaluation by the judges are: Personal Interview (30% of the score), modeling of formal attire (20%), sharing a Philosophy of Life statement (20%), and Talent (30%).

The “Age of Elegance” Pageant is the only senior pageant in the country that brings honor and recognition to senior women. California has the largest senior pageant in the country and the competition is steep to win a spot to compete at the State Pageant. The winner of the State Pageant will advance to compete in the National finals in Atlantic City in October of this year. In 1972, Dr. Mott started the Senior America Pageant Program in New Jersey. In 1986, the California Chapter was created and is now under the leadership of retired Beauty Executive, Elvia Harris. The California program is the only Senior Pageant Program with a Preliminary Pageant process which is the first qualifying round for participation in the State Pageant.
