A – A fat-like substance found in all our body cells. It is manufactured in the liver and is used by the body to make hormones and cell membranes along with other substances.

Q – WHY IS CHOLESTEROL LINKED TO HEART DISEASE?

A – It’s the main component of the plaque that settles along the walls of blood vessels, collecting until it finally clogs and closes the passageway through the vessels. This can cause a heart attack or stroke.
