APARTMENT LIVING – Los Feliz

Shared walls. Shared experiences. Playwright Boni B. Alvarez captures the pulse of the times we’re living in as he gives audiences a bird’s eye view of living under lockdown. When neighbors in a Los Angeles apartment building are forced into tighter quarters, the walls of their comfort begin to close in. The play notes the subtle dynamics of who we feel beholden to during times of crisis, how we behave in forced captivity, and do we like what we learn about the people we love? Directed by Jon Lawrence Rivera, produced by Gary Grossman and Jon Lawrence Rivera. A Skylight Theatre and Playwrights’ Arena co-production. At Skylight Theatre, 1816 ½ N. Vermont, Los Angeles.
